Breakbound Part 2: Evolution Of A Surfer (2007)

After experiencing only small surf in Ecuador, Randy takes Jeff and J.P. out to the legendary Galapagos Islands in search of big waves. But just as Jeff gets a taste of huge surf and amazing conditions, his lingering ear injury worsens. After a visit to the local doctor, Jeff chooses to ignore his advice to stay out the water which leads to a heated argument with J.P. Frustrated with the idea of following someone else’s dream, J.P. decides to return to Canada. Randy continues to help Jeff and, shortly after returning to Ecuador, introduces Jeff to a beautiful and famous Ecuadorian TV presenter and supermodel, Maria-Teresa Guerrero. Jeff is instantly smitten and things progress quickly – within months, they are married. But it isn’t long before problems with Jeff’s ear return and he is forced to undergo surgery that keeps him out of the water for months. When Jeff finally returns to surfing, he begins training with a pro coach and earns a spot in a competition in Costa Rica. As he takes on the challenge, he reflects on the past two years of his life and realizes how much his life has changed and that no matter what happens, he made the right choice in following his dream.
